A pretty resource-intensive game that's under 1mb.

It's not World of Warcraft, but when you remember that everything you see was created from a file smaller than 1mb, it's pretty neat.

See the game here: http://produkkt.abraxas-medien.de/kkrieger
Download the 96K file here: http://kk.kema.at/files/kkrieger-beta.zip

From the FAQ:

come on, not everything I see is in that small file, you use DirectX
standard textures, right?

there's no such thing as DirectX standard textures. everything you see
in .kkrieger is procedurally generated at the beginning, in the
"loading" Phase. there are neither stored images nor stored geometry in
the executable file, everything you see is generated procedurally (the
one exception being the menu/HUD fonts, which are generated from
standard Windows fonts). if you are interested in the details, refer to
our technology section.

For the exception of the bugs, this is pretty fkn awesome.

You would think that game would have been updated by now. I got it in a computer game magazine about 3 years ago and it is still the same buggy game...For such a great idea they should put a little more time into it and make it a complete finished (bugless)game.

<<It's not World of Warcraft>>

World of Warcraft is nowhere near graphics-intensive.

1. I said resource intensive. World of Warcraft does use a fat chunk of memory though.

2. I meant as in visually-appealing. World of Warcraft has some pretty awesome places to see.

Eh...

Not really.

And the game crashed my computer.

Too resource intensive for an E-Machine evidently.
