Like the title says, I'm looking for a keyring (that holds lockpicks and keys) to be made. I haven't a clue how much they might cost, but I'm looking for as cheap as I can get. Lemmee know what you have available, how much you charge, how long it'll take to make one, and where you can deliver (IFW and River's Rest are preferred).

I'll make you one for free, but it's going to have to be Illistim or WL.

Those the keyrings that I see rogues cycling the lockpicks on it to get to the right one?
If so, I was wondering where the heck they were found.

Yeah, and they're found in the rogue guild...I think the ability to make them comes with mastering Lockmastery.

The ability to "make" them, which consists of typing in "LM Keyring" and handing over like 3000 silver. I don't even think we get roundtime for it.

This is a pretty good site explaining the different options for keys, keyrings and lockable containers.

damn price gouger.

EDIT: heh, about a month ago I changed keyrings from mithril to iron. I left the mithril one in the shop I share with Rhys and Tayvin because I was out of locker space, intending to store it until I got bored of the iron one. when I went to switch again, someone had bought it for like 40k or 50k. I was sad :(

Jesus, 100k for locking a container? I knew he charged a lot but I didn't know it was THAT much. Not to begrudge him his time and effort to learn those skills, but I am glad I go to Gibreficul.

In all fairness, Glimmin probably made that site awhile ago, when he was one of a handful of people that had finished LFM.

I usually just give away all the trap components I find now, and sometimes I can't even do that.

In the six or seven weeks that I've been finished with it, I've made keyrings for perhaps five people, a couple lockpicks for someone, locked one container and cut a few custom keys. There's just not a very high market for it.

(I also don't charge for doing anything, so feel free to seek me out in game if you need anything. Unless you suck, in which case I won't do any work).

Ahhh, that was the site that I'd found once that explained it! I had figured 50k was quite a bit expensive at the time (a few months ago, when I last heard about them).

(I happened to have been looking at the mithril keyring, if that at all makes a difference between free and some sort of cost.)

Though I do have to say that I LOVE the keyring I have on my rogue.
