I should have saved the official info, but EG will cost a base of $40, with the option to pay an extra $100 for an access to a semi-related auction. Everyone that goes to the auction will have 1 item out of it, much like the Promise. There will be a tokens area, and a silvers area.

Tickets go on sale Sept. 15th

For plat 40 bucks for both the event AND auction

I am looking forward to it.

The current plan is that the tickets will go on sale on September 15th. The ticket price for general admission will be $40. The auction, likely limited to around 200-250 tickets, will be $100. That gets you into the grounds and the auction.

~ Kitrina

The way Kitrina stated it, I believe the $100 admission gets you into the auction AND the EG grounds.

100 gets you into both, yes.

If I was guaranteed an item which would be guaranteed to sell for 10 million silver, I'd do it.

I wouldn't bet any personal appendages on it, Bob.

Foehn's had some pretty shotty items.

I wonder how many of those auction items will be enhancers. I'm guessing at least half, if not more.

That's pretty insane for an event that has costed 20 bucks almost each year it's opened.

I think I'll just go trinket shopping for odds and ends en masse like I usually do ...For the new and improved $40 minimum (in Prime, you say?)

Any idea if non-Premium players still be unable to access the Maze of Spirits, like last year?

Er, link, plz?

I would assume so, especially for non-Premies who might not like waiting 18 months for a +7/+3 stat enhancer.

Way to grab the bull by the horns, SIMU.

$100 for a text game event? Ya’ll are crazy, yo.

The fact that the game is text is inconsequential. $100 for any type of game event (excluding gambling type games, where you have a chance to win that back) is pretty silly. They only do it because they know people will pay it.

Well in theory there is the potential for people to earn back their money in this auction/raffle event too, Artha.

True enough. Thats how Vegas makes their money. I still say crazy though.

It's always been my favorite (and only) pay event too... just seems like they might be taking it a bit too far..

The item i got was crap and there was a line of people waiting before me when i went to turn my won item in so i was not alone in my sentiments.

There were some nice items, but many many more mediocre ones.

Thank fuck they are given plenty of notice for ticket sales this time. Shame my anniversary is on Haloween, but I'll probably be there anyway.

Anyone have any idea how many of these limited tickets will be sold?

I'm going to piss and moan about price, but in the end, I'll be buying one anyway. (The 100 dollar one, of course.)

What's interesting...is 250 was the ticket limit ORIGINALLY for paid events, funny shit, eh?
