Polearms and shield use.

I was wondering, if I dump all my MOC training I can double in shields. This will give me an extra 50 DS or so. Is this worth it? Remember I can then use a trident or spear one handed.

IMO, you might as well go to a normal sword/board training path if you end up using 1 handed polearms. They tend to stink.

On the contrary, Spears one handed have the same DF's as a falchion.

Interesting, they really did beef up one handed spear DF. Go for it.

And for Skin/plate DF,just use your lance (which has the highest DF for these two categories) and pretty much you got all your bases covered. Polearms are a great lil' weapon skill.
