What did everyone do for the fourth?
We took a boat cruise and watched the fireworks show from sea, was awesome.

I watched it rain all damn day (and night!)
A few of my sister and ...I's... friends and some first cousins pretended to be having an enjoyable time in my folks' house up in CT.
I passed out from half of a margarita I handcrafted and managed to sleep through not only the continued lightning and thunder, but my folks & friends detonating crap.
...I's?
Spent it with friends, talking about old school stuff.
Bridged a few rifts with mum and dad.
Awesome day.

Had a relaxing day with my daughter and boyfriend. Grilled stuff and popped stuff. Daughter had sparkler too close to a pile of leaves and caught them on fire. Put it out with some buckets. She was delighted about the whole ordeal. rofl

celebrate?
I did laundry at the laundromat, did grocery shopping, and gemstone.
Such a (mostly) relaxing day.
St. Louis, imo fucked up the Fourth of July festivities by only doing it two days, and not consecutive ones.

I set off loads of highly explosive dangerous items of firey death, which resulted in several very serious burns. :(
Hate the sparklers, especially when I drop them.

celebrate?
I did laundry at the laundromat and washed my bra finally, did grocery shopping for a 10 inch zucchini, and molested small gnomes in gemstone.
Such a (mostly) relaxing day.

I have no comment.

Yes, roman candles do hurt, especially when your hands are down.
A few years back I dropped one when it had a few shots left. My ankles were FUCKING PWND!!111!!1
Firecrackers FTW though, it's small, it's explosive, and they're really fun to put in dead trees.
Specially the BIG ones.
Haha, we caught a tree on fire that we were putting things in to keep them still.

I spent it recovering from surgery, mostly relaxing on the lazy-boy with a pillow propping up my knee.

Flag-football practice, barbeque with the family, set off some fireworks outdoors and in the bedroom. It was a good day.

I drank, went with my boyfriend to two friend's beach homes, lazed around on the beach (made sandcastles, sea kayaked too) then had barbecued food, watched some fireworks, and watched the worst movie ever (Open Water)
