View Full Version : WoW Screenshot of the Day
I know there's an official site for WoW screenshots; however, I'd like to see some of the creative artistry that our fellow PC'ers can come up with.
This one is of Ganalon on Dunemaul outside UnderCity near the zepplin tower under the local visiting necropolis apparition.

Your character kinda looks like Voldo from Soul Caliber. All gimpish and what-not...

1024x768, what a joke.
And I've never been in a situation in WoW that I thought was screenshot worthy. :(

I did'nt know an e-machine could handle 1024 x 768?
Think some of my favorite screenshots were of me mind conrolling noob horde off of thousand needles.. and the pile of 50 skeletons at the bottom of lift.

lol!!!11111
1280 x 1024, and that's a monitor restriction.
I thought this was a cool shot too. I'll log into the lock and hunter tonight and see if I can get some other interesting shots.

My venture into the Caverns of Time.

Forgive the widescreen, I was taking a video for my brother so I changed my aspect.

That resolution seems to work real good for my pc and ATI Radeon video card. I have no issues now with graphics and I get excellent detail when playing.
I'm having fun enjoying the graphic landscape since being couped up so long in Gemstone's text based reality. Pretty much every time I'm in a new area or flying somewhere I alt+z and pan around to look for interesting shots of the different places within the realms.
Great shot Wezas!

Bunch of shots from back when I used to try to get to all the blocked off areas. Hyjal, Caverns of Time, pre-release Ahn Qiraj, Old Ironforge, and the airstrip.

One last one for the evening with my lock. I snipped this on my way out of IF heading to SW.

Lol don't miss IF one bit. So far the best screenshot is sadly of lag.
This is one of a char I no longer play... short, stocky, good dancer.

See Vic/Skirm, that's what happens when you play on PVP. As soon as you step into a contested area (say Redridge/Duskwood) people like Alfster are there to pwn the n00bs.

Especially when it's in an opposing faction's town....
Looks like the guards are what did the killing there.

So , just double checking....i was in Hillbrad? or however its spelled and stealthed watching some horde attack a small town....I could have wtfpwned them there? Or would have had to ask them to consent to combat?

On an RP server, they would have to be flagged PvP (see the red horde emblem on their portrait) for you to attack them, and vise versa. If they were attacking an alliance town, you could have pounced them. :)
On a PvP server, being in a contested area automatically PvP flags you, so anyone can attack anyone on the opposite faction.

If you're on AD & the name above them is red, you can kill away. You can always just walk around flagged yourself. people will flag and try to kill you.
on dunemaul pretty much everything but the noob zones and big cities is contested area. Feel free to gank & camp until you notice your maturity dropping.

And no, the picture Alfster posted was of the bridge in Redridge. He and Xyelin were there pwning n00bs when some bigger guns were called in and killed them.

Still, it's an opposing faction's town with guards. All I see in the combat log is the guards killing him. Not to mention, he's a 46 in an area meant for 20's. No wonder they called in higher level people heh.

Not sure why you grouped Xyelin with that screenshot, you know damn well who his character is and he's not in my group ;)
Your panties always get in a bunch when you see things like that, if im picking off noobs in town (like i usually do) their corpse walk is all of 8 seconds.
