My roommate moved out, taking the two cats with him... One of which I paid for, and took care of. I was a bit ticked off, but I got over it because the cats were related. They'd been together for the past year, and there really wasn't any sense in seperating them at this point...

So I'm at Valero Oil Terminal in Linden for my new job, and I see that there's a bunch of kittens running around outside the office building. I picked one up and pet it, and one of the workers told me to take them all home. I laughed, but said I wouldn't be able to take any home...

Anyways, I went on board the oil tanker I was responsible for, met with the captain, and got all his paperwork straightened out. As I'm leaving, I stop by the office to drop off my Temporary ID, when this little grey furball runs over to me and starts meowing. So I pick him up and pet him...

The terminal worker comes out and convinces me to take him home this time... So here he is. I still don't have a name for him. He's about two months old.

Since you adopted him after stepping off an oil tanker, call him Popeye or Salty.

Or, you could be lazy like I was. I took in a stray a few years ago, and just named her Cat, which was later extended to Katie.

I just got back from the Vet, and all the staff wants him now! :-p

For names though, I was debating these: "Serino, Tyrael, or Gustav (Gus for short)".

I'd make it a poll, but I don't think it could be done once the thread is made...

Vote on my 3 names... Serino, Tyrael, or Gustav.

So far there's one vote for Serino, and one for Gustav.

The poor bastard has been through enough already, for the other two names.

Seriously, Zig. If you have company and he's being a nuisance you can tell someone to "move zig, for great justice."

Heh like they'd have the brains to code the abbreviation ''you'RE''.

My next cat is going to be named Chairman Meow.

My mother has a cat name Mousie Tongue. I'm sure Chairman Mao would be pleased. Yup. Thrilled.

I'm going to get a miniature schnauzer named Bowser when I actually get a dog.

My cat's full name is Carmelo Anthony. Melo for short, and yes, it's a girl.

What an adorable kitty! They're always so cute and fuzzy when they're young. You should put that last one of him coming out from under the dresser on www.kittenwar.com

I'm usually more of a dog person, though I do enjoy cats.

That is a cute fucking kitten tho.

I suggest a name like "Killer" or "Beast".

Like naming the 400lb guy who's your bunkmate in prison "Tiny"

Too bad Ishmael is not an option.

My list would have Ishmael, Aasha, or Osric on it.

Other names of note I like for this kitten are:
Artor
Ahz

"Asian Cuisine," no joke.

You could always shorten the name down to "Cuisine" or "Cwoos'" in case you have Edaarin, or any of his 4 billion relatives over for dinner.

If you're really going for those aforementioned nerd names, have the common decency to do Gustavo.

...This way, you can pretend you got a less metrosexual animal, having to offset it with names like "Beast" and "Da' Plague" and "Da' Plague-beast." I don't think any Mongolian-style restaurant kitten-hunter would fry up a plague beast, though. Your call.

Lastly, I really like how you severed Gustav's lower half underneath that gigantic piece of furniture. Excellent technique

Stanley Burrell.
