I'm full of questions today. How much brawling do you need to properly utilize Voln-Fu? I was going to train 2x, but my friend suggested it was 'made for a 1x cleric'. Im just curious what everyone out there thinks; I'd prefer to get a little less Brawl if I can drop the points into something else.

Singled is pretty difficult to do at like-level. My Cleric will 301 something then obliterate it with Fu. If you want it to be viable, I would double.

I haven't played in quite some time now but unless some major things changed, 1x brawl was never enough.

My ranger doubles in it, and even with mobiles up he sometimes has trouble with targets a little over his level. I'd say 2x if you want to make full use of Fu. 1.5x at the very least.

Really? My ranger hunts about 20 levels over his head with Fu. Easily. Maybe it changed since I logged in (been over a month)

My empath is only 1x in brawling and at 34 trains can do some serious damage on spectral miners. Would love to be able to 2x her and see what she could do then. I'm finding it to be a seriously fun way to hunt as is though.

I could probably easily kill things 20 levels over my head with my Fu'ing ranger. On my other character, I've seen people in Bonespear with a lower MB than my level 34 ranger.
But, since my ranger hunts entirely self-spelled, my DS and TD are not nearly enough to survive against those higher level creatures.

Rangers do way better than everyone else with Fu. At least 1.5x it as a warrior if you want to be good. I'd recommend getting 2x just because it's not exactly a bank-breaker in terms of TPs.

Yep, due to their spells, rangers pwn with Fu. They also defend the best against it too I believe.
