No shit. I spent like an hour reading every damn tapestry and talking to that crone, nada. I finally just asked here for the answer.

Yep. I tried for a good while to solve the puzzle, just like I do every one. It is like the Rift one. Some of the steps are common sense, then the last part is some random shit one would never guess.

Ditto for the core of Temple Wyneb. Everything goes well until the very end where it is just some random thing.

I spent about three hours last night climbing the tower, looking over things, visiting the Maaghara. I found a bugged staircase on the second floor, and the wall. I touched leaves until I had a semblance of pattern, then someone had pity on me and told me touch hand and the recital.

What screwed me over was RP'ing through the process. Bisco IM'd me his script which did it quick and I entered. Also what screwed me over is Bisco saying "Take off all your Ranger spells lolz" then me getting fucked up by a goleras for not being spelled up.

I think the only puzzle I've ever solved on my own is the orbs past the MC. It actually spells something reasonable. Oh, and the Reach.

Actually, I've solved a few, but that Tower one, I caved on. I don't mind puzzles which involve touching things in a random order, because even if you can't find the rhyme or reason for it, you can eventually just crack it due to brute force. But then when you throw in a random recite at the end which to this day I have no idea what it's relevant to, that's what aggrevates me.
