As you no know by reading NEWS 2 17 the age update has gone live. This update allows players to change their birthday and their current numeric age. The update also remedied a problem with aging on ones first birthday.
The lifespan of all races were reviewed and many updated. The current parameters are:
Giant: 20 to 100
Human: 20 to 80
Half-Elf: 25 to 200
Sylvan: 30 to 700
Dark Elf: 30 to 700
Elf: 30 to 700
Dwarf: 30 to 180
Halfling: 20 to 100
Several age descriptors were added for each available age range. Generally there are 5 or 6 depending on which age you've chosen. These descriptors can be change at any time without limitation. However, the numeric age and birthday can only be changed once.
Debates about specific race usable lifespans should take place in that races topic.

Also, age selection has been removed from the CMGR system and will be handled via the AGE verb.
