So I just turned 10 on my ranger and I have a shiny new 4x yumi (longbow). I thought it might be cool to use a set of ebladed arrows as well, but no matter what sort of arrows I fire I dont get any extra AS. Can rangers now not stack enchanted arrows with bows or what?

I'm probably wrong, and if I am somebody will undoubtedly correctly (and probably call me stupid), but since you're level 10, the bonus you can get from the weapons are probably capped with your yumi at 4x (+20). You probably won't be able to get the full 8x (+40) bonus from the bow + arrows until level 20.

The above post is indeed correct. On the plus side, I -think- the e-blade will allow you to hit magical critters, and you do get the benefit of flares and arrows that should grow in enchant with you as you level.

This is true. The only down side to eblade, i believe, is when it flares it will damage the skins etc thus lowering its value at the furriers. But it is certainly an in expensive way to get a 8x weapon.

Correct, your total enchantment bow AS, caps at the max of what your level can hold or tolerate. Since you are 10, the max you are able to utilize will be +20. When you hit 20 trains, you will see the full benefit of using say, a 4x bow with master fletched arrows crafted from various enchanted wood shafts/arrowheads and fletchings that can determine a few properties.
However do remember, that bow enchantment ties DIRECTLY into your DS as well. a 4x bow will yield you +20 DS, as a 10x bow would yield you the entire +50. Always something to look at..

Right but its much easier to get 4x armor and a 6x bow than a 10x bow.

Of course, I was stating that a 10x Bow will stack +50 DS onto whatever armor you are wearing. You gain benefits from both armor and bow enchant, not a combined amount. IE: 10x Armor + 10x Bow = +100 I believe
Question:
By using a 4x bow and ebladed arrows you realize a +40 to AS... Do you realize a +40 to DS when a 4x bolt is loaded into the 4x crossbow?
And if you're holding a 4x arrow with a 4x bow, does your DS actually drop because you're holding something in your other hand? Or do you get the benefit of both bonuses to your DS?
I think, if I remember correctly, my DS dropped when attacked while holding onto both bow and arrow. Next time I'm hunting I'll test it out.

I think the only bonuses you get, applied to DS, are from only the bow enchant. AS is another story, as you and others already mentioned. It's been a long time since I sat around testing it, but I seem to recall a DS drop while holding an arrow and bow..But that was a while ago so I'm not quite sure anymore.
As for the crossbow question, I would assume no..You'd still only see the +20 DS from the enchant, the bolt would have no factor in it. But I never tried, it would be something to look at, since you load a 4x bolt IN the crossbow..Would it then make the crossbow at as an 8x all-together? Might be something to peek at, especially with my new Crossbow using Rogue.
I've never noticed any difference to DS with an arrow in my right hand and bow in left.

[Field of Rushes]
A field of rushes fringe the edge of a forest, clinging to the foot of the trees with no visible break between the snarled grasses and the tree trunks. Clouds of black flies hover over the rushes in a shifting curtain. Overhead, the boughs of the dark trees block out the sunlight with their peculiar, black foliage. You also see a massive black boar.
