Aside from the binding rune (for familiars) what other runes are there for wizards that are worth learning. Any?
Or are runestones just another semi-useless tool that started off as a great idea, only to be thrown into a cobweb-infested corner?

They're used extensively by Sorcerers, primarily for scroll infusion.
But, aside from the binding rune, wizards have no use for it.

Trying to teach another wizard the binding rune... And am unable to do so. Do I need the runestone on me to do it?

rune teach <person> binding
You don't need anything else other than to be in a group with them.

oof, making stupid mistakes again
OK didnt know about the group part, and for some reason after using the rune verb, I dropped it for the teach - using teach rune <person> hmm oh well
But another thing... the other character wasnt able to comprehend what I was teaching him. Do you have to be in the wizard guild? Or have a certain level?

Guild doesn't matter, that only need to know 920 and it will work.

They still have a limit on how many times you can teach it? or did they do away with this?
