I used to write scripts like this a while ago. Then I found two easier ways. First off, use lich. Makes your life so much easier (see my rats script). Secondly, if you don't want to, all you have to do is make a match list of all the room descriptions (assuming they're all different, pretty sure they are where you're hunting). Then, make a walking loop that goes through every room in a certain pattern, and make it check for critters and other hunters, like this:

room1:
put n
match room2 also here
match critter cobra
match room2 obvious paths
matchwait
room2:
put e
etc etc etc

then have a general section called "critter" that deals with all your attacking commands (mstrike, whatever you want to use), and after the critter dies, just do a look match to identify the room, then it would continue the loop.

Lich is ideal, but the second way I listed would still save you tons of time writing your scripts.

Really you don't even have to have every room description, so long as you aren't using the counter variable for anything. You can just have a set path and have the last one set the counter back to 1 (or whatever you started it at). The advantage to having every room description is you can start the script from anyplace in the hunting area, but generally it's not too hard to just walk back to the starting point.

I'm havin problems w/ the script - keeps typing ahead because of the 'put' directions instead of 'move' anyway to fix it? I'm not premie and it types waaaaay too far ahead. Wizard FE user, too.
