So, overall and not specifically which profession has been the most enjoyable (fun to play). Warrior, Bard, Sorcerer, Rogue, Wizard, Ranger, or Paladin?

Empath.

Besides playing Empaths, I enjoy playing rogues. But.. there is a shortage of good healers out there who don't dress horribly and act like.. well, your typical empath.

I love the combat maneuvers rogues can use, and their versatility.

For me, it is either rogue or wizard.

Rogue for their fantastic stealing/hiding abilities. Nothing like robbing someone, and then ambushing their neck off.

Wizards for the variety of spells, and number one...familiars. Nothing better than sleeping someone, and bloodwood wanding them to death and not getting arrested! Cept...I think they may have changed that since I last did it. :(

I'm gonna go with rogue.

As Aaysia said ... in order from best to worst:

Rogue (with various paths including: .5X spells, THW, TWC, Smith)
Empath (Chica's boneshatter plan)
Wizard (Enchanter, Encahnter-physical)
Paladin (Physical, Magical)
Sorcerer (triple spells)
Cleric (Physical, Tripled spells)
Warrior (Full Physical, .5x spells)
Bard (Physical, Magical)
Ranger

My favorites:

Rogue

Never could get into playing a warrior.

For me, from top to bottom:

Cleric
Rogue
Empath
Ranger
Warrior
Bard
Wizard
Sorc
Paladin (solely because I haven't played one much)

Clerics, I feel, have some of the best RP opportunities in the Lands. There's a semi-formal structure (IE, you are the cleric of a deity, usually) but with lots of lateral interpretation.

I only had three really productive characters, so I really only know three professions. I'll have to say that I prefer, in order from most to least: rogue, ranger, empath.

I wouldn't have fun playing it.. but I do have fun watching it.

My highest character was an empath. Depending on who was around at any given time, he was either a blast to play, or a complete bore.

Rogue was fun to play and hunt, although I wish I had trained him in a weapon style other than sword/shield.

My warrior was very boring, hands down the most boring class I've played.

Paladin seems boring so far.

My wizard was fun to RP with but not so fun to hunt with...

My cleric is good all-around fun. He's the only one of my characters who had a backstory when he was created, rather than me making it up as I went along. I find that the story gives him a lot of RP opportunities, and a lot of room for different types of interaction. I can even hunt him without falling asleep at my desk.

So, I would have to say cleric for me.

I would have to say wizards because of their amazing flexibility and sorcerers because of the depth of their spells. I have never really played a bard or ranger though, and they look like a blast.

Most fun to play? Ranger. It's hard to mess one up, and you have so many paths you can take. Magical/physical, skill set, attunement to nature, take your pick.

That being said, I also personally enjoy playing a Wizard, two Bards, a Cleric, and a DElf locksmith.

oh snap I forgot a couple

Yeah.. I have a 5 train sorcerer that I have no interest in playing . Syb helped me plan her so she's fine training wise. I was just bored to tears playing her.

I can't believe I forgot my halfling cleric. I have one! I love her! Gonna edit my earlier post to fit 'em in.

Scroll Infusion. With this, they now have access to 211, ,215, 307, 509, and 606. Pretty good stack of spells to wear alongside with 425, and make for a pretty good ranged AS. Not as good as well trained ranger, but with ranged DS's so low and ignoring parry DS, they are more than able to plunk a seer in the eye.

Sorcerer & Ranger: (top picks Sorcerers for the richness of their spells. Rangers because hell you can't really go wrong with them since they are a well balanced class)
Rogue (locksmithing and pickpocketing)
Wizard (might like this profession better if i played him more)
Empath (now that he hunts instead of sitting on his arse)
Warrior (eh...they are okay i pull him out once in a while. I got tired of guild skills)

Haven't played the other classes.

Archer DS pwnes runstave DS plus a capped sorcerers bow AS, self spelled is easily enough to brain a griffin or seer through the eye even without spirit strike. Don't forget a sorcerer can deck any creature, have it drop its weapons or kneel weeping.
Only problem with it is you have to dodge thrown weapons.

That and I think people get bored simply "casting". Ranged sorcs seem like they'd be a blast to RP and hunt.

509 and 606 don't add ranged AS. Not sure about 307.

They reduce RT from shots due to their giving extra to the strength bonus.
Any outside circle spells are a luxury but not essential at all.

"509 and 606 don't add ranged AS. Not sure about 307."

For my halfling sorcerer, these spells (509 and 606) are quite useful to drop that aimed shot, longbow RT when he snipes off critters. Without them, he'd be relying on hastle amulets exclusively to get a manageable RT> and yup, 307 adds to ranged AS. Only +5AS, but every little bit helps.
