so, my 30 day period in which I can redo my stats is coming up on my dwarf cleric, who's 17. i tried to strike a balance between placing for the highest stats vs. placing for the most tp's.

so much for my life story.

i know tanking stats is bad, but constitution seems totally useless. what sort of adverse effects will there be for placing con at 20? fewer total hit points? anything else?

thanks for the advice.

encumberance is the main issue, IMHO.

Your encumberance will be affected, CO bonus provides crit padding to your skin (1 point for every 4 bonus if I remember correctly) along with a couple more minor things. I would put it at something more like 40 if you want to keep it low, I imagine dwarf CO grows pretty fast, even on a cleric.

A character's body weight is determined by BASE BODY WEIGHT * (1 + (CO-50)/200 + (ST-50)/200)

Dwarf base body weight is 155. Dwarves get a 5% bonus in how much they can hold. The encumbrance formula is ((15 + STR Bonus) / 100) * Body Weight. It'd be 20 + STR Bonus for a dwarf.

You can plug in your own numbers to determine the encumbrance issue. Every 5% of your body weight above how much you can carry adds +1 RT.
