I *think* that dog is rather famous. It won the World's Ugliest Dog show.
The thing is hideous and it looks even worse with that "red-eye" that dogs get that ends up being blue due to those reflectors they have.
I wouldn't buy a dog like that, but if my dog ended up getting that ugly of course I'd keep him. Nobody would dare bother me while I was walking him, LOL!
What in Christ are these?

Are these the same breed?
Also these (http://www.samugliestdog.com/) are just too horrific to look at.
I'd never realised animals could be so ugly, the one Soulpie posted this thread about has cute eyes. Heh.

That is one horrible woman to let her dog continue to suffer like that.
Agreed. It's ears are all torn up and shit too.
Looking at the way she parades the dog around tells me she doesn't give it much time to rest it's fucked up, 15 yr old corpse.
Also look at her.. she's obviously nuts.
Ugly dogs deserve peace too.

Dog is likely blind (full blown cataracts?) and you can tell from the lumps on its body that it is likely suffering from cancer as well.
Euthanasia is a humane practice. Utilize it!

Actually, Sam didn't have cancer. His owner, however, did. She is currently in remission.
Sam was, indeed, euthaized at the ripe old age of 14 years, due to suffering caused by congestive heart failure. The lumps you see were warts...and (eeeewwww!) blackheads. He also had a hernia lump toward his rear. His teeth were crooked, and he had a few too many toes. He also didn't have as much hair as these dogs usually have on their heads, feet and tail. The cataracts only appeared over the two years preceeding his euthanization. Yet, as a young dog, he wasn't unhealthy...just ugly as sin. His owner got him from the humane society, which had branded him "unadoptable". She'd just found out she had cancer, and Sam somehow gave her hope, not to mention being a friend and companion that she treasured.

Not that I would accuse HarmNone from pulling stuff out of her ass...but where did you get that information from?
Oh, and not all lumps on dogs necessarily mean cancer. They can get fatty deposites around their body as well that causes bumps like that. Our Min Pin has one. Our Vet said if it ever got bigger than she'd do a biopsy on it, but she says not to worry about it because it wouldn't be worth the cost to cut it out of him since it wasn't hurting anything.
And yeah, that picture of him laying down with his mouth open is going to give me fucking nightmares tonight. Christ.

There was an article on...I think it was an NBC site...that had this information. It was gleaned from the owner.

Nope. My bad. It was a CBS site. Here's the link:
