Hiding and critting.

I haven't trained in ambush at all, but I did train in hide and can hide relatively well. If I just type kill from hiding and hit a critter would it be considered extra critting (since I'm hiding), or else would I have to actually type ambush and suffer the RT penalty to get all the affects of extra critting from hiding. Or third since I haven't trained in ambush at all would there be NO critting whatsoever ... even though I'm hiding?

i tend to lean towards the third. if you did have ambushing, your ambushing skill would indeed be added to an unaimed "kill" attack, without adding the extra RT. kinda nice actually, i use this with my ranger to slice things up with the katana in 5 seconds.
