View Full Version : Fixskillz ideas.
So our yearly fixskills is almost upon us and I for one am looking forward to it.
It's been a long year of runestave use which, while it was good for magic skills, cirtainly didn't make me feel like a brutal sorcerer but more of a walking stick wielding prancing caster.
I haven't been able to decide wether I want to smack critters heads in with black ora axes or to shoot crippled izthir in the eye with flaring bolts.
Either way, it's going to be a welcomed change.
What do you have designed for your fixskills.

I'd be impressed if you could hunt OTF as a war sorc.

I might adjust some of my lores training, but that's it I think. Maybe next year when she's close to capped I'll mess around with something more drastic.

If Stay wasn't so perfectly trained, I might consider changing him back to being a spell rogue. I could probably squeeze 120/410 now.

I used one to show that redux % doesn't really exist anymore. I don't have any plans for the others. I already used my bard's to lose EMC I think.

Going to go from 3x PT, 2x ambush and sort of maxed out CM to 2.25x PT, 1.5x ambush, followed by maxing out CM and switching up 1 or 2 horsecrap CMAN(s) for other 1 or 2 other apeshit ones (CMAN[s]) that I've been too lazy to fuck wit', I surmise.
I'll use a chunk of the leftover TPs to decide on armor, trading and/or a bit more hiding.

9 days remain until the annual FIXSKILLS is to be granted, on 05/20/2006.

I'm still debating on whether I want to fixskill from a twohanded weapon swinging bard into a ohe/shield user for a day just to see what it feels like. I probably won't do it, just because I like having a fixskill in backup just in case I want to try something new.

For Stun, I'm considering switching from 640/130 to 650/120 and learning the 100's again as I continue to silently hunt and gain levels.
The Magician is going .5x OHE/Shield and prolly about 2.75x spells, moving into both air and fire lores. He's got a few key skills that I will simply stop training in and let the levels catch up. Possibly going to let HP drop to 1x, since I can leech like a mofo.
Cleric's going to get a little more physical, going into Brig and pumping more Cleric ranks to boost the CS, and backup his Fu ability.
