On to happier things.
I moved to Connecticut last week.
And got hired yesterday at the rainforest cafe!
Pretty stoked about that.
Looks like an awesome place to work.
Not sure where I'm going to go to school yet.
Yay for new jobs!

Congrats on your new job. We have several Rainforest Cafe's in the Houston/Galveston area and they're a fun place to take the little ones. Definately not your normal restaurant atmosphere.

Congrats on the new gig and the big move. There are some good schools in CT, good luck with finding the one that's right for you. Everytime I pass the Rain Forrest cafe there's some chick standing outside holding a large yellow boa. I took a picture with her one time just for fun. The kiddies love that place.

I did a few as well. I am honored that Skeeter is still using one of my limeys.

Here's the link to the primary limehat limeatar thread.

I would probably still have a lime hat avatar if I didn't lose the link in the change to V Bulletin.

I went to a Rainforest cafe at Disney (or Universal Studios, but I think Disney) way back in the day. It was great.

And I'd still have a limehat, but disgruntled paint huffer is so much funnier.

Oooh the Westfarms Mall is awesome too. Congrats and welcome to the Nutmeg State! Just as an FYI, you're not too far from Six Flags up in Mass, right over the state border. You're less than an hour from New Haven, home of Yale University. And you're about 1.5-2 hours from Mystic on the east coast. Great location where you are, it's far enough from downtown Hartford that you won't have to deal with so much traffic and dirt, but close enough you can enjoy a night out there.

Thanks! I went by there in Feburary with Kellen and it was PACKED, they had about a 2 hour wait when we wanted to eat there. Right then I knew I wanted to work there when I moved here. Sure enough I got hired right off the bat and start Saturday. I love the location, I'm kinda afraid of working in the mall though, get off work and not be tempted to go shopping? Never gonna happen...
