Thought we'd have a perfume thread to compliment the cologne thread.

Ladies - what do you wear?
Gents - what perfumes turn you on?

I currently wear one of these daily:

~Pure Seduction from the Victoria Secret's Garden Collection (very close smell to Love Spell)

~Fresh Vanilla (or Warm Vanilla Sugar) from Bath & Body Works

~Le Couvent des Minimes' Orange Blossom from Bath & Body Works

I don't generally wear perfume.. I'm always self-conscious of, "OMG did I put on too much?"

I do own Burberry for Women, Victoria's Secret PINK, and this citrus smelling stuff, don't remember who it's by.

When VS discontinued "Victoria" I stopped wearing perfume regularly. I have a small bottle of something that my old boss got me in Paris. I've no clue what it is, but it's nice. After that's gone, who knows.

Notice I covered my question with "what perfume" not "what smell" ;)

I acutally use more body sprays and eau de toilettes rather than perfume. It's lighter (water based FTW).

I smelled Burberry for Women the other day, and it smelled really nice. I plan on getting some of that when my current collection gets used up.

Sunflowers by Elizabeth Arden.
Reminds me of summer and hot sex. The frangrance itself is unmistakeable and utterly addictive.

The moldy odor from her "victoria secrets" bra.

I currently have only one real perfume, a coffee-smelling thing by SkinMarket. I wear it sparingly these days, but as a teenager I found it incredibly effective in attracting coffee addicts.

These days, my "scents" come from moisturizers. Lemon verbena, vervain, and coconut are generally what I use, with other citrus products occasionally.

I have to say, I don't really like traditional perfumes and colognes. They all smell the same to me.

Love DK Cashmere Mist still! Anything by Anna Sui, Sui dreams is lovely. I adore most Carolina Herrera perfumes too, 212 is yummy! I won't wear expensive perfumes to work etc though, I usually wear Aztique, from the Body Shop, it's very light and fruity.

Isn't it awesome.
If I smell it on a woman while we're in a queue, bus stop or whatever I can't help myself but smile or compliment.
Nice one DeV.

Ciara, and Taboo.

I knew there was a reason I liked you:) Ciara FTW! I love that, it just makes me feel very feminine and sexayish.

Daytime perfumes for me? I'm not sure I really wear any, every once in awhile I'll steal a spray from something my daughter has on her dresser, always something very light, and delicate.

My mom wore Ciara when I was maybe 11 or 12. If I smell it in a store or something, I think of her. Can't wear it myself.

Which is how I got into it. My mom wore it when I was a child, as well. She eventually changed to another fragrance as she always had a habit of never sticking to one for too long. But I've liked the scent for years.

Well, it's inappropriate really as over powering smells can make a patient feel sick. However, most nurses still wear it. We were also told it was inappropriate to have hair that is "outside of a normal colour range." Fuck that!

I wouldn't wear perfume if I was working in a hospital. Since I'm working in the community right now it's fine. :)

I wear two, either Be Delicious, by DKNY, or Lucia: Fleurs de Chocolat, by Fresh. The former smells like green apples, the latter like bitter chocolate with orange. (Though I think Lucia is now sold as something else, they had a product line revamp since I bought my last bottle.)

I wear Gucci Envy mostly, but I still use my Empress Lily by Stacked Style.

I also got a sample of Vera Wang's Sheer Veil from Sephora the other day, and I have my eye on some Elizabeth Arden Green Tea.

I wore Sunflowers when I was 13 or 14. It was a present from my Grandma, and I can't even remember what it smells like now. I'll have to check it out again.

DKNY's Be Delicious in the summer.

Victoria's Secret Very Sexy in the winter.

I used to wear Raulph Lauren's Polo Sport for women but ran out, and I also like Calven Klein's escape.

I also have an entire bath set (lotion, soap, spray, etc) of My Desire by Victoria's Secret.

Obviously I prefer very fresh, clean scents. Anything strong is just vomit-worthy here in the heat.

Happy (citrus) or Happy Heart (floral) by Clinique. Both are fairly light and don't affect my allergies. Happy Heart is actually my first choice, but I'd worn Happy for some time before they introduced Happy Heart, so I still wear it occasionally.

On men.. Drakkar Noir or Axe Effect are the only two I know by name and scent. Both are yummy to me.

Eau d'Hadrien by Annik Goutal is the only commercial perfume I wear, and that's for special occasions (since it's uber expensive and I don't have much left). Other times when I want some kind of scent I make my own perfumes, usually with some combination of rose and jasmine.

Estee Lauder - Beyond Paradise. Hands down my favorite scent.

I love Nuit de Noel by Caron of Paris. It's only made once a year, for the Christmas season, but it's my favorite evening-type scent. I rarely wear perfume during the day, as I am often in contact with sick persons and don't want to make their lives more difficult.

For women: Cool Water, Pleasures, Spring Fever, Romance, Banana Republic perfume is great also, there are others, but I can't think of the name.

For men: Cool Water, Pleasures, Drakar Noir, Armani Exchange, Burberry, Polo Sport, Chrome...and others I can't think of as well.
