Very soon, banished people will find that (most) every town merchant will refuse to deal with them.

I think Ojos visited, uh, Cysaegir the other day?
I wouldn't think of it as a major concern if you're only pickpocketing in a town you're already a citizen of.

I think the concern is more.. the gemshop, pawnshop, etc.

Heh I think it's good... it'd be even better if the shopkeepers called the constable upon seeing you.

I think it would be cool if you could still visit some shady merchants... prices say twice as high and bought items worth half as much.

Yep, that would be cool. Although most towns are catered for in regards to nearby mini towns like the caravansary etc.

I agree. I could picture going to see Jhym in Solhaven since he's shady anyway and having him deal with banished people. Or any of the locksmith shops for instance.
Plus Helga, I couldn't see her NOT serving people just cause they're banished.

Bernt's use of "(most) every town" would suggest that there may be some shops whose owners aren't quite so selective.

As a side note.. what does citizenship do for you?
