I'm leery of even considering this, but since Stun is close to 130, I'm faced with a couple options of choices. To pick a combination of the following.

A. 650/130
B. 640/140
C. 640/130 and add physical skills.
D. Single in spells til cap.

I'm looking for more experienced Rangers here for some insight.

650/130. You should pick up 650. Chiv's doing 650/120 because he doesn't need 130, and then using the extra points to be 1.5x PF when he hits cap.

Not speaking as a ranger, but speaking as an OTF hunter:

I see 140 not as a 'must have', but one of those spells that will make life easier. Granted, I have never played a ranger past 20ish, but I can't imagine rangers use anymore mana than my bard does during a hunt (between 56 mana song renewals, e-waves, 1016's, 1005's [on everything]). Despite that, I can run 1035 during my entire hunt. I imagine sustaining 140 wouldn't be too difficult.

Bottom line is a capped ranger cannot dodge an implosion. :)
