Selling an extremely old cloak that I think is really amazing..
Finally got it altered into something decent looking while trying to preserve it somewhat..

a deep forest-green elven cloak clasped with an emerald set in silvery imflass
>l at cloak
Beautifully made by skilled elven hands, this elven cloak seems to have a bit of the essence of shadows woven directly into the fabric. Staring at it a moment you feel yourself drawn into the shadows and the surrounding darkness.

Seconds later, you blink and regain your composure.

Weighs 3 lbs. Holds 140.
1x per hour autohide with camouflage (PULL). 1x per hour autohide (RUB)
SEPERATE timers.
Both will hide you with NO skill and NO failure in ANY room in the lands.
Including a sancted unhideable room, a merchant's workroom or even the consulation lounge for you naughty folks.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
>pull cloak
You pull your elven cloak around you, and you feel it shifting around your body. You blend into invisibility among the surroundings.
Roundtime: 3 seconds.
>unhide
You feel your ambush opportunity slip away.
You do not believe anyone noticed you slip out of hiding.

>rub cloak
You rub your elven cloak and blend quietly into the surroundings, feeling confident that no one has noticed your doing so.
Roundtime: 3 seconds.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Loresong:

The first thing that strikes you about the cloak is the weight, which is about 3 pounds. In your best estimation, it's worth at least 1000000 silvers. You can also tell that there is some type of elven cloth in the structure of the elven cloak.

You sense the strong aura of magic about the cloak. The cloak responds with a few melodious tones, and the way it vibrates in tune with your voice tells you that this cloak is more than a simple garment.

The harmonics generated by the cloak tells you that rubbing the cloak or pulling on the cloak will activate the magic held within.

The cloak's tones become stronger and the world dissolves away. As your sight clears, you feel yourself running through a deep forest of magnificent fels. You turn quickly and notice a two-headed troll bearing down on you. You pull your elven cloak tight around you and you fade into the surrounding shadows. The two-headed troll sniffs the air a moment before turning its back to you. You leap from hiding to attack and cut clean through both of the trolls heads! As the trolls body slumps to the ground the world as you know it returns to solidity around you.

Would it be possible to alter the description?

Don't see why a merchant wouldn't mind De-Ugly-ifying it.

Are you sure that camouflage portion works in a sancted room, or unhidable rooms (ie. fire mages)? I wouldn't believe it does without seeing it in person, or if you can get Ardwen or Tayvin or someone reliable to vouch for the properties.

It works just as advertised, very old cloak, and I wouldnt count on getting it altered either, a few of those old cloaks have the alters as part of the script that give them the spells, only way back then t do a show and long alter combo really.

Like Ardwen said, probably would be difficult to get it altered but not impossible. Lot more merchants altering stuff with scripts these days compared to a few years ago when they wouldn't touch em.
