How much did you blow at the Anfelt anyhow?

And I'd be willing to buy one of your 10x DBs =)

Excuse me for a dumb question, but I have been away for a while. What exactly is the benefit to a sighted ranged weapon? And how is the bonus calculated? I am assuming it helps in ambush or aimed attacks yeah? But how so...

all told I spent um...

30M on the axe
19.5M on the other axe
~19M on crossbow raffle
5M on regular raffle tickets
and like 10 or 15m on crit padded stuff, 3 complete sets of the resistant chain shirts and all the accessories and the damage padded accessories

so.. 85-90M?

Was one of the best events I've been to.

It helps you aim better, good stuff for shooting eyes. As far as how the bonus works, I don't think that's been worked out yet.

Holy hardcore SHM.

The benefit of sighted ranged gear is that it adds to the accuracy of aimed attacks with the weapon. Your % chance to hit the target will go up by some amount.

Someone did some number crunching a while back and found a +2 sighted yew was about as effective as a 5x bow at lower levels. However as you gain levels, the benefit of AS becomes more substantial than the boost to accuracy. I never verified the numbers personally but it sounds about right.

Well you can't hit the broadside of a barn when you are young, I've always thought sighted makes the most sense for young characters. Rogues need sighting the least, rangers slightly more so, everyone else, depends on their training plan and perception/ambush (if they shoot from hiding).
