So, I'm doing a charity benefit event, and was really hoping to raise more money than I am. I'm very hesitant to share with people my real name, but...well, its for a good cause. As such, I'd really appreciate it if you guys took a look at the link below:

Thus far, I've been soliciting donations (which makes me feel very uncomfortable) from friends and family, and thought that online would be the next logical move. To expand on what it is, The Leukemnia & Lymphoma Society (obviously) funds research, aid and awareness/education of leukemia, lymphoma and hodgkins disease. This program I am in, called Team in Training, coaches motivated people to do athletic events (triathlons, marathons, varying distance runs/walks, etc) and asks them to raise money. So...I'm doing the triathlon here in NY, and would really appreciate anyone's encouragement, advertising and of course donations. Bit empty in the wallet myself right now, but if you stay home from the bar tomorrow night and put in your usual tab, or pack a lunch and donate your fare, it does add up and make a difference. Please pass the message on, at work and to friends who are outside the Gemstone/PC circle if you would.

Appreciate it guys.

I'll contribute. I lost my grandfather to AML, so any money going to research here I'm in favor of.

Check your U2U, I'm sending it via Paypal so you'll have to add it to the site since it only accepts visa/mc/amex.

You could always use the Paypal debit bar. That's a Visa, I believe.
