I like Misses Arkansas, Maine, Montana, and Tennessee especially, and all in all I don't think the women are notably unattractive. That being said, they certainly have a good share of the bizarre poses models/photographers seem to think are attractive but are just weird. Also, the stereotypical model mode of answer is painfully evident in the interviews I skimmed through.

Let me just start off here by saying that I was HIGHLY DISPLEASED with the permanently sterilizing results of last night's pageant. I had to bare the fornication of French “techno opera” with an ACDC t-shirt, which didn't even brew some delectable cherry-flavored blend of wicked cacodemonic offspring. Two thumbs down :thumbdown:

Another thing, no one watches NASCAR, or at least no one watches NASCAR for any reason other than seeing the fiery explosion of anywhere from one to a circuit-full of Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s in some high octane super-leaded doom.

Using the above NASCAR model, I was downright humiliated that not a single model twisted an ankle or dislocated two hundred and six bones while walking off that awkward platform during the get-go.

Conclusion:

Watching women on NBC's Miss America who should be:

A) Naked. (This is especially due in part to the fact that there has seemingly been a general consensus to rule out any and all forms of a prosthetics-improved jaw line in place of many-a-horse's face.) I was extremely uncomfortable having our nation’s bulimic borderline trampled on by the exclusion of much needed plastic surgery. And the pathetic absence of porn star-sized boobs.

B) Dead.

Or C) Some totally hot zombie culmination of the aforementioned.


...And having these beasts not even remotely piecing together as some combination of A, B and C, I am going to recommend that every time someone watches, hears, feels, tastes and fucking smells anything and everything National Broadcasting System, it is christened by the kicking of an infant.

If I remember correctly, Miss USA is chosen based on physical beauty alone. Miss America has a talent component and, possibly, some other factors involved.

Miss USA still has a question and answer portion, and I'm pretty sure a couple of the girls got knocked out based on their retarded answers, so it isn't all about physical beauty. Mostly, but not entirely.
