Happy Easter! I am just about ready to sit down with my kiddos and eat dinner. We don't have Daddy home this Easter as he's preparing to deploy to Kuwait. I was lucky to have had him on the phone last night when.."The Easter Bunny" came, and again early early this morning, as I hopped about my yard in my robe, slippers and horrid bed hair, to hide Easter eggs.

Scolding from the 'rents for not wanting to attend church, then scolding for not singing when I did go. No candy as they are both doing South Beach.

My brother and his family managed to make 20 minutes of the three day weekend to spend with us, and I still get to be the bad kid! Friggin yay.

Yesterday my little cousins (9, 9 and 11)saved their allowance money and bought marshmallows, hersheys and other lil sweets. They made little gift packets wrapped in foil for all the adults yesterday. AND I GOT ONE TOO! They're so sweet >.<

Their mom went out to buy extra treats for 'em. They had a blast for their easter egg hunt this morning. I managed to weasel out of church (which I'm not proud of but I was way too tired) I had rehearsal for 6 hours which sucked but it was fun despite the energy sucking humidity all freakin' day.
