How much skill for 7x?

After fixskills, at level 50, my wizard will be 2x AS, 2x MIU, 2x SA, 2x HP, 1x EMC, 1x Wizard ranks, 1x MjE ranks. I want to leave wizard ranks at 50 and raise my MnE. Will I be able to do 7x enchants?

You may be able to pull it off, but it'll be a crapshoot. I'd reccomend getting 5-10 more wizard ranks before you attempt it.

I tried my first 7x with 55 ranks, and had no problems.

My Wizard has been doing 7X since train 40.

At the time he had 40 Wiz, 35 MjE, 2x MIU, AS, Control, HP, and aim. All with no problems. So go for it.

Not to be off topic, but any reason why I botched an enchant at 32 with 32 ranks in wizard for a 3-4x? The item was imflass chain... The thing blew up and nearly killed me...

Any enchant you've got a 5% chance of screwing. My Wizard who could do 7x messed up a 1x bow.

My wizard blew up a 3-4 with 65 wizard spells known.

I was working on a set of mbp 6x to 7x (5th cast) and cast with a hand scar. Reset the armor to 6x and killed my wizard.

My wizard is 59 and has 58 ranks of the 900 spells.

Conversely, if I'm scar free and unencumbered I can do 7x enchants consistantly while in the workshop with my familiar present.
