I applied for a job at one as a line cook, not expecting them to get back to me (via careerbuilder.com).
They got back to me.
I've never been to one, since they dont have them up here in the north. Anyone been to one or able to fill me in?
Of course I've been to their website, but it doesnt help me much.
I know their cafe is in a mall, and I believe it's inside a store? Not sure, I'd like to find out before I return their call.
Perimeter Mall in Atlanta if anyone cares.

Don’t know much about the café, but I do think their coffee shop has a better cappuccino than Starbucks.
Congrats.

Nordstrom's is a more upscale version of Panera to give you an idea of the atmosphere. Can't help you in terms of what a line cook will do.

It's inside their store. I've not been to one, but I grew up eating in Lazarus stores (now Macy's). Here's a review I found on epinions. HTH

Thanks TRL, soul and back.

I remember going to Nordstrom's cafe with my grandmother on her shopping expeditions and having their delicious cookies. That was back in the day though. Its been about 30 years since I've set foot into one.
Damn that sounds way too old. :(

I have never seen a Nordstrom's not with at least two classy, well-to-do cafes within their hellish shopping apparel bowels o' doom.
Hopefully things go well for you: Just try not to flaunt too much of that gourmet style goodness in front of the n00b chefs.

Panera sucks. Line cooking sucks. Macy's (burdines) RULES!.
