So if you wish to sing drinking songs in your native tongue to your mug of beer, or wry love songs in guildspeak, or loresing so only bards understand, limber up your pipes and get going.

You will now speak, sing, recite and loresing in the language you have set for speech. Type SPEAK to set your language.

Tone for RECITE is set by selecting a choice found in TONE LIST.

You can also set a one time/one line tone by using a single colon(. Targets are still set by using a double colon (:.

*Example:*
say :squeaky ::door You need oil.

>Speaking squeakily to a heavy oak door reinforced with steel bands, you say, "You need oil."

recite :uneasy ::door What's on the other side of you?

>You recite uneasily to a heavy oak door reinforced with steel bands:

>"What is on the other side of you?"

The commands TONE and SONG should be helpful.

For Bards, SONG STATUS can be used as an alternative to SING STATUS to
determine their current spell song medley, renewal time estimation,
and current renewal cost.

We have Mestys to thank for this great addition to how we express ourselves. Sing Sylvan Songs of Powerful Praise!!

Sweet! I'd noticed someone using it earlier tonight and I wondered if it was an update.

Awesome way to expand the RP!

Thank god. Now no one will have to see me sing random typos for status anymore.

Good implementation... finally. Solli was working on this like all of last year.

Yay, I was waiting on this to come out. I know a few bards who will be very very happy about this one. Being able to recite in your own language and a specific tone is neato too.

I am really excited for this change. It allows for some of my characters to finally sing and recite! They only speak their given racial language and it was hard not bein able to sing.

YAY!
