I would say..good for these guys. Can you imagine how hard it is on them to be so far from home? I doubt the video was made with goverment equipment, right? It is difficult being away from home, family and friends, everyone deserves a little break to let of steam and act goofy. I think the video is soo cute.

The USN needs to work on it's PT.. there are a bunch of fat fuckers. Pretty harmless video all in all and at least they weren't picking rust together into the wee hours of the morning.

I really hope the message title was in jest here...
In most long deployments you have tons and tons of down time or "hurry up and wait" time. As well, all people (service members included) need their down time to relax and unwind, even those not getting shot at everyday. If you don't provide this time to your subordinates as a leader you are going to get subpar performance and lots and lots of morale and attitude issues.
I know the majority of people on deployment that I encountered worked far more hours per day and per week than almost any civilian job. Speaking from example, I worked a 12-16 hour shift with about 1 real day "off" every 2-3 weeks. My team was split into two groups, each of which worked 24 hours on and 24 hours off.
I learned long ago that you don't begrudge someone else from having some time off, sometimes you get the shitty assignment and sometimes you get the nice one that lets you get some perks.

I thought it was pretty funny. If that helps them wind down out there then more power to them. I'm sure they could use the relaxation and some fun in their lives.

I too found great humor in the video. The title of the thread was not intended to be demeaning towards the US Navy.

I like the Halo title theme in the very beginning... Then things began to get unbearably choppy. Stoopid flash + bandwidth :hammer:
I wonder if I can convince my guy friend to do something similar while he's over in Saudi Arabia.

I too had problems playing it off the internet, so downloaded and had no problems.
