I have a CD-RW that I burned on my desktop (Dell Dimension 3000)
I can't read the CD-RW on my notebook (Compaq Presario 2570) . On the notebook the CD-RW looks empty, why? The notebook can read other CD-Rs and CD-RWs fine. A co-worker can read the CD-RW fine on his notebook (no-name)

My notebook that can't read the CD's is an LG/Hitachi HL-DT-ST RW/DVD GCC-4240N. The burner in the Dell is a TSST corp CD-RW TS H292B.

On the bottom of the notebook do you see any of the letters DEE-Z?
