Thinking about taking the family to London in July/August leaving from Orlando which is a direct flight British Air. Anyone know of some better deals out there or .... ?

Best I've been quoted so far is $3,000 for 2 adults, 1 child, 1 infant.

About a month ago, I paid almost $1200 for my ticket for mid-July. I really don't expect prices to go down, so, um, you might be screwed.

Just FYI, it will still be cold, gray and rainy in the summer. It will also still be a smog filled shite hole. Yay 4 London.

If you're going to visit England, go somewhere cooler like Cornwall or Devon!

Playing around on travelocity quickly, looks like you'll save about 1k if you travel in September. Oh, but it's a stop-over too.

My tix to London cost almost $600 for Feb. travel. Off-season ftw.

I'm heading to Hampshire actually. Looking at cottages for the week now.

Ah lovely, a lot of my family live in Hampshire and Dorset. If you want a nice quiet town try Christchurch. It's lovely there.

Will have to check it out. Looking to be a little closer to the coast like Hans or something near the New Forest.

cheapest I could find from Toronto to London for that time was $931.94 (Cdn) for one adult. Four people travelling for $3000 doesn't sound bad.

Maybe this will help:
