Finding images

I'm having trouble finding the images that get saved to your computer everytime you visit a website.
For example, the avatars on this website.

I found them before, accidentally, and deleted them, but forgot where I found them.

Any help? I'd like to get the avatars and other little images off my work computer, but can't remember where they are hidden.

Temp internet files. Different location depending on your version of Windows. In most recent versions you can just go to tools >> internet options >> delete files and that should take care of it.

Windows 2000 here, XP at home.
I'll check there again - I usually keep that really clean.
I swore I found the files in an obscure location on my computer at home, but could be mistaken.

XP Home here, Documents & Settings -> User Name -> Local Settings -> Temporary Internet Files.

That's how I found your deleted profile picture yesterday since you removed it. Quite a useful folder.
