So I got a call from my cousin this after noon and she can't get on her PC. So I went over there and basically all that is happening is the PC loads like normal. It begins to load WinXP and it goes to the blue page where if you had multiple users, you log in that way. However, no users pop up, all it says is Window XP Home Edition, and it sticks there for ever!

I tried booting from safe mode, I ran every test you could via F8 and even tried booting from a previous time when Windows worked...

Nothing!

She has no disks, and a startup disk does not do anything for me. The computer claims tobe ok, it just won't load... They do not have the recovery disks and dell will not send them...

Anyhelp?

No offense bud, GSplayers corner isn't where I'd be looking for help on this.
Tried other more PC tech dedicated forums or suppliers?

You can also check under the "Front End, Forums, & Computer Help" on the official forums. I know a lot of computer savvy people there have helped me through some crappy shit that's happened with my computer.

Guys like Tsoran, Ildran, Simu-Myke and them read over there and are real good resources.

Go to microsoft.com and search. It's a good database.. I use it for my active directory related things.
