I would warn anyone who uses paypal... its very very easy for someone to get their money back if they pay with a credit card.

Also just an FYI about western union, both parties will have each others information. Name, Address & Phone number.
Its much safer for the seller and the buyer still has enough information to feel comfortable using that service.
Paypal basically screws the seller of e-goods. I had a friend get ripped off of over 1200 dollars worth of gemstone stuff and then got charged backed.

Well, I guess I should rephrase my question.
What kind of loser deals in shady business to be put in a situation where they somehow get screwed by the Paypal system?

When I use Paypal, the second the cash hits my Paypal I neither send it to my bank or hit the ATM. Trust noone, and you'll always win.

just me but since I am already paying for coins I dont want to have to pay another 15 bucks for western union and if I do a western union whos to garentee the person delivers the item requested. same goes with money order. Lord knows I am not flying across the country for the $170 I lost my mailing a money order and the person decides oh I dont feel like giving you the silvers. At least with paypal I have somesort of recourse if the person decides not to deliver

Did you mean EITHER instead of NEITHER?
If so, thats when you'll get a notice from a collection agency stating you need to pay them for the charge back. At least thats what happened to me. Thankfully it was a small amount, but I was very upset.

You really should learn who you're dealing with before you decide to send anyone money. There are a few dealers of gemstone items with a good reputation. Some of them charge more than others ... gsauctions.com but it's well known by everyone.
I also don't think it costs quite that much to send money via Western Union.

Actually it does. Western Union Quick Collect which is a blue form is 14.95. I work for a collections agency and peole have to have to use it quite often because of deadlines and things must be secured funds on settlements.
