So i saw this razor in the Superbowl commercial and thought it was interesting. I decided to finally pick one up my last trip to the grocery store.
First: The thing looks pretty bad ass. Not sure if there's different colors, but mine is orange and it has a decent holder.
Some notes: It was $9.99 for the electric version (only version I saw there). Takes 1 AA battery.
Result: Damn good. My face is as smooth if not smoother than it was using the Mach 3. And with that vibrate thing on, I just kind of run the blades against my face and it does the work. It seriously just feels like I'm just sweeping/pushing the hair right off of my face. My mach 3 would sometimes irritate my face but so far this razor hasn't.
Haven't tried that single blade on the back yet.
Just an opinion, but I recommend it.
Disposable Bic FTW.
I've tried the hot, expensive razors but always feel more at home with the yellow guys.
Fair enough it takes a little more time than the effortless glide you get from Mach3 or whatever but they're precise and I'm used to them.

I shave every other day Vic, so I don't look uber-scruffy for work.

I use a Mach III. I might try the fusion but meh shaving with the Mach III every morning means I'm always rockin the baby face, minus the flavor savor which I'm growing back heh.

I tried the Fusion but don't really like it. It does give a close shave but found it uncomfortable as it pulled at the hairs of my beard. I'm likely to stick with the M3 Power Nitro.
Gillette M3 Power = best razor ever.

I'm just waiting for the Mach3 Power Nitro Dual Core Extreme to come out. That's going to be one sweet ass razor.

Only 9.99? The machIII cost more than that doesn't it? Well I've had my current Mach III for years so I dunno anymore. Great product. (mach III)

All you people scared to try new things.
5 blades (+ 1) > 3 blades
It's $10, try it out and pitch it if you don't like it.

I absolutely love it. Will never use 3 blades again. Just waiting on the Mach 13 now....

I would think, with the blade in the back, that shaving those "hard to reach" places might get a little dangerous.

rofl yeah, I was wondering about that blade.
I bet it pwns the unibrow in emergencies tho.

Gillette M3 Power = best razor ever.
How bad is it if I agree with the only female poster's shaving statement so far in reference to what I also seem as the best razor ever? P.S. -- It is

m3 turbo -- i get carded when i shave and i don't when i don't. makes me wonder how different i really look.
the girlfriend says she can't use a 'man's razor' though... something about it being designed differently.

Gillete Metal.
Black and white, 1 blade, metal guard, and it doesn't get clogged with those small scratching hairs.
Closest shave ever ... 3 bucks a 10 pack.

1 fucking blade? Do you have only soft little pube like hairs on your face? Does it take long to shave?
(both serious questions)

No, I have very thick and corse hair. Multiple blades on a single head just get clogged with hairs that don't always rinse out. The hairs that get stuck just get dragged over the skin scratching the hell out of it.
It takes me about 3 minutes to shave and I only shave my neck, I leave everything stubble above the jawline unless I have to clean shave ... which is almost never.

1 blad just doesn't work if I'm chopping the deep woods.. but for below the burns and around the goatee 1 blade will work if I bang it on the sink and rinse after each pass.

I've never had a problem with hair getting stuck in my mach 3.
Maybe I'll try it. I've never gotten a closer more comfortable shave than from my electric Panasonic Wet/Dry. Then again, I've been going with the 5'oclock shadow 24/7 lately.

LONG long update BUMPPPP.
Because of this thread I went out and bought a Fusion. I've now used the SAME exact blade that came with it and have never changed it for OVER a year and it still works super.
I shave daily most times.. sometimes I'll go two days but I find it remarkable that I still get a smoooooth close shave from the same razor cartridge for over a year. Battery is still kicking just fine as well.
I must have been lucky to get their titanium SUPER RAZOR!
At anyrate I recommend this product.

You don't count unless you're shaving your face with that.
In which case... gross.

Do you have like 3 hairs on your face? A year? I have the same razor.. in fact I did a market research on a couple of the newer models (one was with a lube strip on it.. and the other one was lube with pumice to exfoliate your skin) and there is no way I could use it for a month, let alone a year.
You know, I have one of these and its a great razor. I used to use it without the buzz feature and sometimes I would accidentally press the button and it would scare the shit out of me. But now I use it all the time and its given me the best shaves evar. I’ve switched out the blades, but not all that often as a 5 pack is like $30 bucks I think.
Still, for those baby smooth occasions, I grind out with an electric.

I swear I've used only one blade for over a year. Normally I've switched almost monthly with other razors. (mach III)
I for some reason think I've got a super duper man razor.. there is only 1 made ever 100,000,000!
I dunno how else to explain it but the shit works just as well as it did a year ago. Today I was shaving and I was like.. DAMN! It's been working just like new so I've never even thought/remembered to change it.
