With the exp benefit for artisan skills coming up soon, would it be worth it to master fletching, then ditch it for another skill? I mean, it might take a week, some luck, and a good script, but i've got a few days off coming up anyway.

At 25k exp per week for 5 weeks, compared to a few pounded-out days of scripting... 125k exp in a week or so... no need to wait to un-fry? Does that make the difference?

I know a few people doing this. Anyone care to comment? Maybe lend me a script or so for it? I'd be much obliged.

when's it coming up? They could have done this a few weeks ago, i'm already 200 ranks in :(

Exp will come Q2, I think. Anyone think it'd be worth it to just pound out fletching ranks? Totally not within roleplay to fletch, but I'd drop the ranks later anyway for Alchemy (or something else, we'll see).

Also would LOVE if someone could offer a great fletching script.

Can't get the .zip to open, or the .cmd?

The .zip opens fine for me. You'll need a program like WinZip to open it.

Copy the .cmd to your scripts folder for your Wizard FE (the script's written for Wizard, not Stormfront,) and then just .fletchtest2 in game.

You'll need a dagger, a handaxe, and some (lots of) logs in your backpack. Should be easy enough to change the script around to suit your own needs.

oh, the archive tells me (through winRAR) that there's a bad checksum, or some such.

Rename the attached file to a .cmd.

I should add that this script will hang whenever you run out of logs and/or shafts. So be sure to have plenty of logs and/or shafts in your container before starting it.

Is there any scripts like that for SF around?
