So I've had a halfling sorcerer forever, and frankly I think he sucks. I never want to play him -- one of you sorcerer types want to critique his skills and stats for me? I just want him to be good at killing shit.

Use wands.
And you're not gonna be kicking much ass at 18 anyway. But yeah, that's pretty much the training you SHOULD be taking for best effect.

Oh and use your TPs on one more rank of Sorc circle.

I'd dump lore until your older where you'd feel it's effects.
Put those points in skills like spells, harness power etc. Anything to make the hunts quicker and easier.
