Anyone know a ballpark figure of what it costs for a Tier 3 PRO to get a building?

base cost is 10 million. They can go as high as 20 million with all the extra features factored in.

Really? I figured they would be 100+m. Do you know how many rooms come for the 10m base price? And can they placed pretty much anywhere in the base town?

Well no, there are certain areas that you can have your building built but I can't remember the exact ones. You'd do better to check on the official boards under the PRO folder for more specific information as to where, how many rooms, etc you can have.

I know the last major meeting, they were having a huge slow down in the QC process. With only one almost complete. And I'm pretty sure 10 mil gets you only one or two rooms...

With all the stuff that's been going on with the CHE through QC, can't say I'm surprised if they're backed up.

QC problems?

I built two of the PRO houses through ALAE, and the QC was completed for them months ago.

37045588, the QC for ALAE and the QC for Simu are two completely different things. We do the QC that we can, then it has to go through the second set.

Just to clarify.

Yea, what we were told, was to expect 2 this first quarter to be released...

All I meant is that there was a bunch of new CHE stuff that was in QC, so it doesnt surprise me if they were backed up.

The Tier 3 PRO building rules are posted somewhere... but you get no more than 10 rooms. You can have three iteractive items per room (30 total, you can distrubute them differently if you'd like) and extra ones are I THINK 1 mil/each. The design for Naessi's PRO structure is done and it's about 15 mil total, ten rooms, two food trays, etcetc.

I sent in Cairnfang Manor months back....

Our manor is costing about 45 mil... but we do not have the official final costs...

PRO houses have a base cost of 1 mil per room.

That gets you portals in and out... and 2 interactive items with a long or show.

You can buy three more items per room for 250k each

Any item with a script (sitting on a chair) costs 500k

A working fireplace costs 1 mil for the script

a trash can costs 500k

a dance floor costs 1 mil

the building can have one node and that costs 5 mil

a fishing area with generic fish costs 2.5 mil

I believe custom food is 1 mil per item

It addes up fast:

Our most expensive room will costs 8,250,000 because it has a node

If anyone is curious they can check out the current designs for the Manor at:

http://www.gemstone.game-host.org/Cairnfangmanor/manorplans.html

All houses will now also get an officer only storage cabinet for Sirina to drop prizes and things in for us.

So we are ditching the closet room and adding a new one.

Katee

I would have to double check the costs but they are pretty close to the published guidelines.. I have them at home on my puter there.

Here are the guildlines as GM Sirina published them on the officials:

1 Structures will be not more than 10 total rooms (including any garden, courtyard, or other exterior area).
2 The general theme of your structure must fit appropriately into the surroundings and town. The guru of your town and the PRO GM will have the final word on whether your structure is appropriate to the setting.
3 The base cost for the structures will be one million silvers per room. This cost includes up to 2 "touchable" items per room. (You may redistribute these, for example if you wish to have 3 in one room and only one in another.)
4 Additional "touchable" items may be purchased for 250,000 silvers each. You may not have more than 5 "touchable" items in a single room (excluding food and drink).
5 One room in your structure may be a node if you wish. The additional cost for a node is five million silvers. (Addition of a node may limit the location where your structure can be built, and will be subject to final approval by GM Warden.)
6 You may purchase custom food and drink with custom taste messaging. The initial setup cost for these items will be 100,000 silvers per item. They will be setup in such a way to be free and unlimited to your guests. You may use your group's name in the name of an item, but you may not use a specific character's name. You may have up to about a dozen food/drink items, which can be served all in one spot, or spread out in different areas. (They must be served IN or ON something, so a "touchable" item will be required for them.)
7 Custom scripts of any kind will not be available -- including scripts on items, NPCs, "mood messaging", etc. However, there are some pre-existing scripts that will be made available for a fee. A list of some of these follows. If you would like something that is not on the list, please request it in your application, and we will look into the feasibility of making it available to you. (The fees listed do not include the fee for additional "touchable" items ? i.e., you must either use one of your included "touchable" items, or you must pay the fee for the item, and then the additional fee for the script.)
a.Mirror ? 500,000 silvers
b.Trashcan ? 500,000 silvers
c.Bench ? 500,000 silvers (You settle yourself on the <bench> for a moment's rest.)
d.Cushioned seat ? 500,000 silvers (You walk over to the <cushioned seat> and with a satisfying sigh, throw yourself down upon its luxurious softness.)
e.Latchable door ? 500,000 silvers (No item is required. This is a standard portal.)
f.Dancefloor ? 1,000,000 silvers (No item is required -- this is a script placed on the room.)
g.Fireplace ? 1,000,000 silvers (Requires two items -- the fireplace, and a basket of sticks to burn.)
h.Fishing area ? 2,500,000 silvers (You will need to provide fishing tackle and gear. The area will be stocked with a selection of pre-existing fish -- no custom fish.)
