I'm not sure if this is a viable idea, but thought you guys might have some thoughts. A friend and I had the idea to start an escort or dating service in game. Basically, if Lord X needs a date to, say.. his friend's wedding, he can come to Lady Y, who will find a suitable date for him. This will, of course, cost Lord X some amount of silver.

I imagine this as being kind of fun to RP, but not sure if it'd actually work out well. The few people we've mentioned it to have thought it's a great idea. Are there people out there willing to play the part of escorts? What do you guys think?

In all honesty, I think it was tried before with the "assorted court" PRO, but as far as I know that didn't really get off the ground. They had some cute ideas, but their "application" made me laugh. As far as Lisu (the original Elanthian Escort), the GMs eventually asked her to stop her schtick.
