You won't need to 2x for life...just 2x up into brig or MBP (30 or 80 ranks of MBP). Once you get enough ranks to cover your armor, start putting points in other stuff.

Rogues are very versatile, and there are a number of different roads you can take them down. Before I give any advice, I have a few questions to ask.
What weapon type are you planning on focusing on?
Are you going to fight out in the open, or from hiding?
Do you want to focus mainly on spells or physical skills? Redux can be nice, but then again, so can ewave.
I want to Hide Im a halfling so Ambush,, I also want to use twohanded weapons any tips?

My advice as the former best two-handed rogue in GS (patent pending): don't be a halfling using two-handers.
Hell, by the look of your mental abilities, don't use a two-hander.
First, using two-handed weapons, for a rogue, takes skill.
Second, halflings can't carry shit. Two-handed weapons are invariably heavy and for maximum killing potential, you'll need to carry two, maybe three weapons. Your RT will suck, as will your defenses.

Why triple S&H? You are gonna blow for RT and DS. And AS. And maneuver defenses.

Yeah I carry three of them.
A halfling ambushing rogue would fare really well with a nice weighted or flared high enchant shortsword. You could go the brig route (40 ranks of armor) or mbp (80 ranks of armor). Either one is viable.
I dont think you can ambush from hiding with a 2HE.

Currently in the process of getting to 2x PT before getting some climb and swim shit. He's purely combat focused, but he does well with his sledgehammer. War mattocks are pretty good too I found, but I liked the descripter better on the hammer (pretty sure it's a maul).

You will suffer being in brig. Wait til you hit the fourties - the hardest time for a two-handed rogue. I dropped out of uber brig over MBP and never looked back.
