Is there a cap on your AS when it comes to bows an crossbows?

say you have a 10x crossbow... +50 + ebladed arrow +20 From a master fletcher +5 and you kneel +50.... ( 125 ) Im only 10th train... but that cant be possible, is it still capped at +50 and if it is is another +50 still added if i kneel

It is capped at 50. Devil is just a mo mo. The +50 bonus for kneeling is an inherant bonus and does not apply.

Basically if you had a +30 longbow (or crossbow) and +25 arrows, the bonus would still only be +50 to your AS. So therefore, mastering fletchery, get your bolts/arrows ebladed and having a +25 ranged weapon, will give you the maximum possible bonus.

However, when it comes to using ones crossbow as a weapon (ie, a s blunt), the ET comes into play.

Ive got a 4x cross which adds +20, and +5 arrows, so thats 25, now if'n i kneel and fire then my AS wond be +75 from my base or still +50 so then eventually kneeling doesnt matter anyway..... I think kneeling even if your enchants capped at +50 will still bring you +50 more

At level 10, you will only get the +20 for the 4x crossbow and the +50 for the kneeling.

At level 11, you will only get the +20 for the 4x crossbow, the +50 for the kneeling and +2 for the master fletched arrows.

At level 12, you will only get the +20 for the 4x crossbow, the +50 for the kneeling and the +4 for the master fletched arrows.

You take your level and multiply it by 2. That is the maximum advantage you will gain from the enchantment/arrow combined. At level 10, it's +20... at level 11, it's +22.

With your hypothetical 10x crossbow (+50) you will need to be 25 to gain full advantage of the +50 AS for the crossbow alone. Use master fletched arrows and you will still only gain the +50 AS as it is capped at +50. There are very rare exceptions, but those would be of specially created weapons only.

The +50 for kneeling isn't part of the AS formula when dealing with enchantments.

so heck you dont even need a 10x crossbow if you got eblades and +5 Arrows... Great i can get the +50 bonus much earlier then all the hackers an slashers!!!
