Pure potion price raised

Warden decided that pure potions were too easily accesed at 2500 silvers (which had been the price they were set to when GS4 rolled out) and pure potions have been raised to 12,000 silvers.

I've never seen pure potions for sale at 2500. Backroom in the landing was always 12000 and in the tent in the caravanasary was always 11000 ever since I can remember.

Where were you buying them for such a low price?

buh? Ever since Aaysia went to the landing (which was when gsiv came out) Pure potions were always 2500 when she got backroom access.

Even on playershops on teras you'd see pure potions for like 5k - 3k.
Now that they're 12k it blows :(

That seriously sucks ass! I bought em at 2.5K in Wehnimers, and tossed em in my shop in Mule for 5K, and I had trouble keeping them in there. Now all of them have been pulled ... thanks to Warden, I can no longer compete with the cleric in Mule.

Talk about a rediculous change! I mean, I used to pay that price pre-GS4, but still ... Make a change, have it that way for what? Two years? Then bam!!!

I can kind of see why this was done....having become an addict to Herektir's shop's pure potions myself...at 2825 many of us were using them for every single hunt, even at-level hunting.

It made the kills that much easier.

Maybe this is simplistic, but harder kills in general = smarter hunting, which should be a good in-character goal, no?

We can still afford a sip during an invasion or if we find ourselves in a tight corner, just not using 2 potions every night.

And, I do agree this was a pretty shitty change. What the hell is the difference when everyone has access to them?

hrm.. I better keep better track of my shop finances then lol. Of course all the pure potions are GONE from my shop since I haven't gone back to teras to change the price... so that would mean they were sold in a mad rush for people not to pay 12k hah

I bought a ton is what happened, and I know another person who bought double what I did. Apparently Teras was a damn gold mine for him.

It's gonna last me a while too since I am on the rift. Mainly it's part of my invasion kit.

Sorry, I was not clear. I was saying I pulled them from the shop, so I could stockpile for Finiswolf. Unfortuneatly, when I did go to pull them, ALL of them were gone. So in all honesty I have NO idea what happened to them. I had 50 in my shop at 5K a pop which equates to 250K, and when I checked, I had 110K in my shop bank. Something went screwy.

Maybe I got reimbersed the 2.5K a potion that I paid?

On a small side note ... in GS3 I was only paying 8k+ in the cleric shop in Wehnimers. I have yet to see if I am back to getting that deal or not...
