Just thought i would create a topic for feedback...

a bright silver engagement ring. The ring is wrought from lustrous silver polished to a gleaming, flawless shine - its slender surface enhanced by the subtle texturing engraved upon it. Cerulean streaks are swept across the ring in spiralling bands, surrounding a single perfect blue diamond within its precise center.

What do you think of that one?

a billowing umbral hued cloak
The cloak appears to be in mottled hues of gray and black, so as to mimic the shadows of a moonlit evening. Faint ophidian runes trace around the collar in shades of brown and green, contrasting to the rest of the cloak.

some supple black casting gloves
These gloves have been tailored of the finest leather. Brown and green ophidion runes run the length of the fingers, and a single large rune covers each palm.

A pair of mottled brown trousers
These trousers are stitched from an oddly-colored fabric, which has the varied hue of snakeskin. They appear well-used, but are not marred by any holes. Small, brownish stains run the length of the front legs, but are mostly clustered in cloudy patterns around the knees.

a mottled green tapestry scroll tube
This sturdy linen tube is wrapped in a fragment of tapestry worked in an unsettling abstract design. Pools of emerald green and deep brown thread cover the surface of the tapestry like the mottled skin of a snake. A closer look at the segments of green and brown reveals that each depicts a bodiless soul, writhing in eternal torment as each struggles against its opposite in the pair.

That last is kind of gaudy, but the merchant did it because I couldn't think of anything. It's better when you realise it's got the piece of tapestry wrapped around it.
