I decided to try tuning back into it after having it off for a long time.

>tune OOC
That doesn't seem to be a channel you are currently tuned to.
If you proceed, you will tune into the chat channel "OOC". If it does not exist, it will be created for you. Are you sure that's what you meant to do?
To tune to that channel, TUNE to it again. If you were trying to TUNE an instrument, prefix the command with a !, as in !tune my lute.

tune OOC
You focus your mind in an attempt to link with a channel on the PsiNet.
You psychically connect to the OOC channel.
(Set OOC to your default channel for CHAT.)

[OOC]-Turpan: "yo"
[OOC]-Turpan: "only chatter, what now bitches"
[OOC]-Berrasi: "I'm SOOOO going to fuck Michaelous up"

>untune OOC
You focus your mind in an attempt to tune out a channel on the PsiNet.
You break off your connection with the OOC channel of the PsiNet.
(Set Make Tayre stop worshipping Jamus! to your default channel for CHAT.)

I never did like OOC. It's great to private chat to certain folks, but other then that ... nope.

Agreed. I have tuned to OOC once ever, and that was only because someone told me Emislity was talking shit about a friend of mine. Otherwise, I use it for private or wavedancer.

I always had my amulet on for the chatter, so OOC saved me from buying overpriced fluff.

I liked OOC until it became a quoting contest every 30 seconds of some attention whore quoting other attention whores. I haven't tuned in for any length of time in the past month or so I guess.

For anyone that's played WoW-Horde.. OOC reminds me of Barrens chat. I tend to stay off the channel, unless I have a question to ask.

Yeah OOC used to be better. I'd like a channel that was more gemstone focused.

You could always make one. I'd be interested in joining it, I'm sure others would be as well.

OOC channel is alright for the most part. But I do think that there are some people that belong in a channel named more appropriately for their styles.

>Tune Let's flame and fucking spout bullshit all day OOC Then go duel at the boulder

Latrinsorm

I don't flame ALL day. :(

You're right. I think I was a little hasty when I said that.

Even Ariond takes a break to wank every now and then.

I'd join a gemstone channel as well

Ariond was the straw that broke the camel's back and mostly why I untuned.

ok Gemstone chat channel is "gsfocus". I'm gonna make a thread announcing it as well.

Yeah it used to be a lot better to listen to the OOC channel. Now it's usually a bunch of guys talking about how they hate fags yet all the shit they talk about is nothing but homosexual.

Feh whatever. I untuned it for the Wavedancer and haven't tuned back in since.

I'm sure even OOC couldn't possibly have as many chuck norris comments as Barren Chat per minute.

Since I've been back, OOC does have moments of intelligence, but they're rare.

Most of the time it's the same people constantly driving the level of maturity down. It's times like that where I just tab the familiar window to the back.

I can name 2 which put me off OOC forever, doing the exact thing you mentioned.
Oh, and when OOC suddenly became ESPN.

Chuck Norris was the fourth Wiseman. He brought baby Jesus the gift of "beard". Jesus wore it proudly to his dying day. The other Wisemen, jealous of Jesus' obvious gift favoritism, used their combined influence to have Chuck omitted from the Bible. Shortly after all three died of roundhouse kick related deaths.

Oh my god laughing my ass off. I've always loved your wit, Artha.
