Just saw on the list of 2006 goals that Mining was on the second quarter list. Any information on how this will work?

And to add legitimacy to my post: No, I haven't seen or heard anything yet, but it does sound interesting. Hopefully it's gonna free up more rare metals for forging.

Awhile ago, a few of us posted some ideas on how this would work. I don't have my old post, and I can't seem to go far enough back in the Zul logoth folder on the offical forums to get it.

But basically, if they are doing something like that. It will be done mostly in Zul Logoth and on Teras, but with other caves throughout Elanthia to mine. Buy picks/shovels to mine with, having a chance they will break. Find random ores in the area and melting them down in/near the town forges. Raw ore won't be used for forging, you would need to use a smelter to work with it.

That's not official, but GMs liked the idea when it was posted back in 2002.

Aelotoi better get racial bonuses to mining, i didnt slave away for my entire live in a kiramon mine to not get a god damn bonus for it. C'mon
