You say, "Bah."

You exclaim, "Clouds everywhere!"

An ice troll throws its head back and howls, shaking off the stun!

[Glatoph, Glacier]
A sheer outcropping of granite rises high above the ice, blotting out the stars with its solid grey mass. The outcropping forms a sharp ridge that curves around from west to north to east, its sheer sides scoured down by centuries of grinding ice. You also see a massive ice club, a frost giant, an ice troll, a frost giant that is lying down and some tattered white robes.
Also here: Crimsoneve
Obvious paths: south

A frost giant struggles to rise but fails in the attempt.

You say, "Little headsup wouldn't hurt."
!>gaze
You gaze in wonder at your surroundings.

A ball of snow rolls in and forms into a snow crone!

A snow crone mutters a frosty incantation.

Crimsoneve just got the cold shoulder!

[B]Crimsoneve just went south.
I had just ran through four different rooms with clouds. is it that fucking hard to yell "Hey clouds! look out."? and on top of that I get stunned from an attack that bounced off him for 3 rounds and he runs off. WTF happen to common courtesy? If it were me I'd of at least tried to kill the creature or drag to a safer place.

This is a hazard of hunting in the area. Clouds and idiots.

In sand devils on teras, I learned the beauty of the PEER verb. What you ask for is a courtesy, but if I were in the middle of a hunt, particularly if I were RPing or having a conversation (which I regularly do while hunting), having someone yelling constantly would annoy the hell out of me.

Your characters safety is your responsibility and yours alone.

Alright, of course my character's saftey is my responsibilty ok, I'm not asking for anyone to hold my hand. And no I'm not saying people should continually run around yelling about clouds every two minutes in a hunting area. All I'm saying is
if you're in a situation like I was after just running through four or five rooms with clouds (Silly me, I forgot to sit in each one and peer in each direction for a safe route.) and you bump into some jackass who could have warned you but didn't, it just tends to piss you off that's all. I didn't end up dying I got out fine it's not a big deal, at the time it just seemed like such a bitch thing to do I thought I'd post it.

I understand your frustration, but I can't help thinking.. I wonder if they were saying the same about you.

when Aaysia was lil and hunted in specters and wolfshades in Vaalor people announced clouds on the net etc in that area. It's nice to be warned so I understand where you're coming from, and the area is relatively small. But I think the directions for the glacier is a little more complex than the hunting ground in Vaalor I'm talking about. That could be one factor.

The other is that even though he walked away what if he was low on health and did so to prevent himself from dying? You never know.

I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

Don't expect much from Crimsoneve except problems. He has two other characters he uses to help kill people. One day, in Zombies. Him and his two other characters disarmed a friend of mine's runestaff and then imploded him. Dumped the runestaff in the town well. GMs could care less.

Seems odd that the GM's "couldn't care less". I know of people who received much grief over similar circumstances.

Best rule of thumb for me? Register EVERYTHING.

I hunted and owned that year around two years ago. I never once shouted cloud (9/10 times they wouldn't even get a chance to cast it), considering it fades pretty quickly. To have done so would have wasted time and effort. Get over it.

Personally, I've never had a GM do anything for me. Except say no. or tough shit except a little nicer. I just saw on the Webapge they put up their goals for 06 and it starts off by saying we intend to be the best and to do that: "... we answer assists/referrals/REPORTs..." Etc. etc it goes on for a while about crap that won't happen for five years or so. Anyway, aren't they SUPPOSE to do these things? Why is simu acting like helping people with technical problems is a perk?
