a mithril wire-worked warhorn

A spiral of braided mithril wire encircles the mottled black warhorn, plaited in a dense herringbone pattern. The wire wrapping extends from the mithril mouthpiece, which is shaped like a gaping fish-head, all the way to the delicate pattern of mithril scales that edges the bell. A long leather strap is looped through the braid near both bell and mouthpiece, in order to allow the horn to be easily hung from a belt.

When you raise this warhorn, it sends off a signal to everyone within amulet/locate range.

You see:
Drawing a deep breath, you raise your warhorn to your lips, and with a mighty blow you loose a long resounding blast from your warhorn!
Roundtime: 6 sec.

Others see:
XXX lifts his wire-worked warhorn to his lips and gives a mighty blow, loosing a long resounding blast from the warhorn!

Others see from a distance:
You hear a long resounding hornblast coming from Ta'Illistim!

Also, upon death it sends a signal to everyone within amulet/locate if you have a free hand.

When you wave the warhorn, it casts tremors, which hits 6 times before stopping.

You see:
You raise your wire-worked warhorn to your lips, draw a deep breath, and with a mighty effort you sound the warhorn, loosing a low rumbling hornblast that rumbles through the surroundings. As you continue to sound the warhorn, a powerful vibrating song flows from its cone, shaking the area violently as it carries along!
Roundtime: 6 sec.

I'll assume this one works like one of the other warhorns from FP in that you need a lot of physical fitness to use it?

I tested it on with a few professions, and it seems physical fitness and the CON stat play a part in it, yes. So far, it worked on rogues and warriors, and I heard it can work for rangers and paladins as well, but I don't have any higher than level 20 to see.

It should work, I just can't say I saw it, because I tried it with 2 rogues when I did rogues, one with 1x in PT and a low 90s CON stat, one with 2x PT and 100 CON stat and both were level 85. They both were able to activate it, so I figure some rangers do 1x in PT and same with paladins.

If you want to test it out with my ranger we can. I tried Tayvin's horn and it didn't work for him so I'm less than optimistic about this one.

Yah, that's fine you can test it with your ranger. I'll be stuck in Vaalor for tonight, so what day works for you.

Bump.

Tested it with a paladin, two rangers and a bard. Paladin sounded it off. One ranger wasn't able to set it off, while another was. The bard was unable to sound it off, but he had only 50 ranks in PT. I think you need around 70ish PT ranks and a 85+ CON to activate the horn.

So so far, it works for warriors, rogues, paladins, rangers. Maybe bards if any are physical.
