Anyone able to explain the requirements for having a shop? I'm told I'd need a premiun account to have a 3 room shop? The person who informed me wasn't exactly sure, if someone would help me out I'd appreciate it.

I'm pretty sure you have to be premie to own a 3 room shop, but I won't tell you to quote me on that. You will need to have full citizenship, though.

You need a premium account to have a 3 room shop, correct. You can only have a one room as a regular subscriber. I upgraded my account merely so I could have the 3 room shop. Of course the extra character slots ended up being nice too, and the big huge lockers.

And what is the maximum amount of items I'd be able to have in a one room shop? Last question, if I were to sell the shop down the road, would the value be decreased being that it would be a 1 room instead of a 3 room?

Usually the values are the same as addin extra rooms is cheap with regards to the big picture(I believe its 100k per room). So you could either subtract 200k from the final price, or just do what most do and sell it for the same anyways.

Shops generally appreciate, but the prices can fluctuate. The real estate market is, from what I can tell, based mostly on supply as there is usually a great deal of demand, but that can be fairly unpredictable too. Sometimes there will be 2 or 3 for sale at once, and then there will be times where there are none for sale for weeks or even a month and people are going nuts trying to buy one.

I set the BO for 15 because I want to be done with this as fast as possible.

Maximum items I believe is 65 in my shop currently. Not sure how that is determined, if its determined by the quality/size of the cointainers or not. The main room holds a total of 25, then side rooms hold 20 each.

Its determined by the containers in your room..

You can only have 25 items in a room but the containers hold different amounts.. so if you have 2 10 item containers you will only have 20 items in that room.

You can have 25 different items per room.

Items that stack can be stacked to 50.

So in esence you can have 25 * 50 = 1,250 items per room.

Since shop rooms are based on subscription, I see no reason for it to degrade the value, though it is nice as a premium subscriber, to have it be 3 rooms when you buy it, otherwise there are some small charges to have the rooms added, and then a few more small charges to have them add in the containers and signs. (Nothing serious though ... IMO)

Correct, it takes 6 months (opposed to the year it used to take) to get a simple alteration. All the big stuff is farther down the road, and in my opinion, very worth the wait.
